Our Team

Shawn Schertzing was born and raised in the beautiful Niagara Region. A former resident of Port Colborne for 15 years, St. Catharines for four years, and currently a resident of Fort Erie, Niagara is where he calls home.

Shawn’s background and professional experience has enabled him to transition with ease and establish himself as a successful and well-respected Broker of Record and Owner of RE/MAX Niagara Team Zing Realty Inc. Prior to real estate, Shawn was co-owner of a local construction company for over 17 years that focused on new subdivision builds and the reconstruction of old roads. To add to his portfolio of skills, most recently, Shawn has acted as the general contractor in the creation of his family’s dream home, for which he was involved, from start to finish, in the design phase through to completion.

Shawn takes great pride in his work and makes it a priority to continuously self-learn. He finds self-fulfillment in being able to establish enduring relationships with his diverse client base and strives to deliver an exceptionally positive and consistent experience for every single client.
